Profile
Annabel Brightling is a London scriptwriter and producer who currently resides in the Midlands. She has written short films, stage plays, features, comics and TV scripts, laced with humour regardless of the genre.
She is a Cohort from the Writing West Midlands Room 204 Programme and established writing labs such as BFI Film Hub and Independent Film Trust and wrote episode one for the original television drama, SeaView (Amazon Prime) and the TV Movie What We Do for Love (Freevee, Peacock, The Roku Channel, Plex, and VIX).
Annabel has also completed two rounds as a scriptwriter for the BBC EastEnders Shadow Scriptwriting Scheme. Annabel is a mixed-genre writer with credits in comedy, drama, action and fantasy. My writing style is dark with flickers or humour, or humorous with well-crafted moments of shifting tone.
